# Data Used and/or Collected

Automatically added to database upon bot joining server for other actions.

This is necessary to ensure your channel permissions are restored after certain commands are used.

This is only for those occasional bad apples we spot and don't want ruining this project for others, but also for the server owner.

This populates the figures of triggers and punishments received, so we can see how effective our services are.

We store your server configurations so not only are we able to keep your settings if the bot does go down, we can make sure the bot stays functional!

Lock Bot uses a Third-Party service to determine whether a link is considered malicious. This data is stored with the aforementioned services and does collect reported website URLs/Links to improve the quality and function of the services.

We use cookie's to analyze and track traffic across our websites, including this one.

On our Dashboard, we temporarily use this for logging in and retrieving information about servers you own/administrate to manage Lock Bot. But don't worry, every Discord bot keeps track of this.

All of the fields mentioned are required to maintain proper working order of the application and it's functions. Without this information, some functions and/or operations could be limited in their scope and could cause the application to fail in it's operational state causing errors.

*The Lock Bot Network Website and Dashboard collect usage metrics only for quality assurance and traffic purposes in order to gauge what users visit and prefer when using our services to make the experience flawless for our users.

Lock Bot uses pre-written strings of information, meaning the bot scans and determines information labelled as "personal," such as; email addresses, IP addresses, street addresses, and URL links are not stored in our server. They are compared with a strings of information and determined on a case-by-case basis, in no way is anything used from a public database with actual personal information. As we collect no information labelled as personal, we enforce and employ standards by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), however will not be taking request for server data deletion as it can alter the overall function and state of the bot.

*Services that are considered premium follow these same privacy policies, however the payment method is stored for billing purposes and are managed through a third-party, not under the Lock Bot Network. If any issues arise with those services, we encourage you to contact them directly. If you're unsure, contact the Lock Bot Network Management and we will try our best to assist you.
